Facts, figures and data about LAMA
A wide variety of geometries were tested.
Nothing is impossible - (almost) nothing
In the beginning, there was the screw.
A M10 as a common model with a relatively large surface area, which was cleaned in small batches. It quickly became apparent that laser processing achieves very good results. So we varied the requirements in terms of shape and size, as each component has its own specific requirements.
LAMA handles all the geometries shown here with ease and optimally prepares the parts for the subsequent coating processes. Not only for zinc lamella, but also for electrogalvanizing.
Depending on the size and geometry of the parts, the system can process up to 1,500 kg/h. Contamination, e.g., by oil, also influences the processing speed. 2-4 g/sqm can be removed without any problems. In case of heavier contamination, a centrifuge may need to be installed upstream.

A look at the performance
The processing time ranges from a few minutes to 20 minutes. Here, consideration is also given to whether and, if so, to what extent heating occurs and how the rotation affects the parts being processed.
To check your individual requirements, we are happy to offer a test run with your original parts on a LAMA system.
