Pulsed TEA-CO2 Laser

TEA-CO2 Lasers emit laser radiation in terms of short, high-energetic pulses. Thus, a treatment of large areas is possible. Only a little remaining process heat is inserted into the component and achieves a selective treatment without damaging of material. At a wavelength of typically 10,6µm, the energy is reflected by metallic areas, ~ 90-99,9%. Furthermore, the energy is absorbed very well by organic materials or glass. Those characteristics are used for many applications.

CO2-CW Laser

Continuously working CO2-CW lasers emit laser radiation in terms of a permanent radiation. The laser treatment occurs through a selective insertion of energy. As a result, you have a controlled modification of the surface material, generated by the process time of the energy. 
The primary wave length of 10,6µm is rather reflected by metallic areas, ~ 90-99,9%, whereas it is absorbed very well by organic materials. Those characteristics will be used in specific applications.

Pulsed Fiber Lasers

SLCR Fiber Lasers emit their energy in terms of ultra-short laser pulses. Thereby, a controlled and very gentle treatment can be performed, without heat influence to the work pieces. The result is a treatment without material damage. By a controlled application of the energy, controlled surface modifications can be achieved as well. The primary wave length of 1,07µm is absorbed much better on metal surfaces than the energy of CO2 Lasers. Furthermore, the energy is also absorbed by many organic materials or ceramics. Some plastics and glass, however, are transparent for this wave length. These different characteristics are the principle of applications with Fiber Lasers.

Fiber Lasers are the next generation of solid state lasers and replace the so far applied nd:YAG Lasers. The benefits of this kind of laser are an essentially higher robustness and a clearly extended lifetime, ~100.000 operating hours, together with a very high efficiency at very low operating costs. The compactness and flexibility of our fiber lasers is also used for mobile laser systems that are applicable at different work places.

To use the properties of the various lasers efficiently, we offer you a variety of different laser optics!

From standard components up to complex beam lines with beam splitting, energy control or process-controlled optics, we are able to construct the suitable optic for you. Thus, the different treating optics allow highest flexibility for the different applications in the field of surface treatment.
