Laser inscription and marking applications glass industry

The process

Modern manufacturing and packaging without laser marking is almost unthinkable. The clean, quick and comfortable marking of glass, plastics, ceramics, paper, cardboard, wood, coated and anodized metal, etc. is the task of laser markers. Depending upon material and type of laser the marking is produced as a reaction with the surface, e.g. colour change, colour erosion or engraving.

Whether over simple masks or applied in free inscription, markings such as logos, bar codes, calibration lines, product markings, e.g. time, date and batch numbers or data matrix codes, as well as even complex diagrams, or particularly high-quality markings, all this is possible with the SLCR marking systems - comfortably and economically.
Whether treated on the fixed or moved product, applied as point matrix or as lines, the result of the laser marking is a touch-free applied marking within seconds. This marking is durably visible and needs no drying time. Dirt, humidity and rough surfaces do not affect the marking process. The marking is resistant, falsification safe and sufficient for also highest requirements.

The systems operate simply by integrated PC or network connections. The systems are almost maintenance-free and are characterised by high operation times and lowest costs.

The advantages of the process:

  • touch-less inscription on moved object
  • durable and wipe resistant marking
  • consistant quality
  • nearly maintenance-free systems with long lifetime
  • low operating costs
